Here is a link to the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management’s federal assistance site: http://www.coemergency.com/2013/09/federal-disaster-assistance-information.html You will find descriptions of each type of recovery aid that is available, as well as information about the recent disaster declarations in the state. To register for disaster assistance, folks can go online to http://www.disasterassistance.gov/ or can call: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). For TTY, call 1-800-462-7585. Those registering for disaster assistance should have the following information available: social security numbers (including spouse), private insurance information if available, address and zip code of damaged property, directions to the damaged home or property, and a telephone number where FEMA can reach the applicant.
